Do you have a toolbox?

A Spiritual Toolbox
Notes from Carole O'Connell's talk yesterday

1- BREATHE. Be in the moment. Live your Principles. Ask: What is the OPPORTUNITY I have today?” No guilt! If you don’t meditate today, don’t feel guilty about missing it… just do it in that moment you remember. - Breathe.

2- NON-RESISTANCE. Where is your focus? Are you focused on the outcome you want, or fear of an outcome you do not want? -- Have an attitude of “I don’t MIND what happens.” Remember that Every Situation brings us gifts. Ask: What is the gift?” Trust that all IS well. In this moment, all is well. Ask: “What is the message? What is the journey I am on in this moment?” NOW is the only thing that is…. Now. It is what it is. - Non-Resistance.

3- NON-JUDGMENT. There is a difference between Observation and Judgment. Observation is noticing it. Judgment is an emotional attachment to the observation. CIM says “We are never angry for the reason we think.” - And - “Would you rather be right or would you rather be happy?” - Non-Judgment.

4- FORGIVENESS. This is not necessarily something you give others. It is a gift to yourself. Forgiveness is “detaching emotionally from a negative situation”. Revrand Michael Beckwith says 100% of spiritual evolution is about letting go. Wow…. 100%! - Forgiveness.

5- ASK FOR WHAT YOU WANT. It really is OK to ask! Be in total alignment with what you want… Picture it. See it. Feel it. Write a story about it. Begin to actively move your focus to THAT new story and let go of any focus on the old story. Stop telling the old story. Tell the new story! - Ask for what you want.

There you go. Five basic tools for your toolbox! Thanks Carole!
